Happy ungrumpy Monday to all our doggie friends on this big and fantastically crazy Earth-ball.
Our first experimental Wee-Mail phase has wrapped up. If you missed it, we've been tweaking and sharing bits from Hunterman's first book, "The World According to Little Hunterman," on this new platform. This was all about testing the waters and buying time as we planned for the future.
We’ve sifted through countless newsletters—the ones we've loved and stayed subscribed to for ages—to figure out what could work for Hunterman’s Monday Wees.
We’ve got loads of fresh Hunterman material in store, especially for our upcoming (test) calendars. Stay tuned for more details in a future wee.
And while we plan to keep (most?) of the new 1-2-3-WEEs in the free section of this Substack, I'll start to retire the older book-wees to the archive and eventually begin sharing chapters from upcoming books in the paid section.
We’re still “wiggling and waggling”, so I welcome your thoughts—most of you have been with us for years and I’m incredibly happy that you are still following along. ❤️
1. Getting our ducks in a row FIRST
Do you have big plans like Little Hunterman? Do thingies look almost ready to launch? Beware of stuff you do not know that you do not know (mostly related to bureaucracy, but you can add technology into the mix, global supply chain complications, new laws…). At every turn, a new fun surprise could be ready to pounce. Best to take it one duck at a time and announce new stuff AFTER the fact.
(Yes, after too many years, we finally seem to have learned this lesson. :o)
2. It’s a Terrier Thingy
Full stop. Full go. Repeat.
Terriers: Lifelong practice, expert results!
3. Wise doggie question: Why bother getting up?
Unless, of course, there’s wee-mail to write. ❤️
