And thank you for responding via Substack, too. It helps. We're still mostly getting emails directly. Eventually, though, we have to archive these to make space. Here, the reply stays with the original post and can be enjoyed over and over. In fact, I often go over old messages whenever I have a hard day. It really helps to cheer me up.

Poppy spent the weekend making sure that we were safe from the monsters living in the PS5. She shredded (upgraded?) the controller.

Oh Wee! My young comrades are so into technology shreds. A different doggie generation. I was never much into the stinky black or white spaghetti behind the desk-places.

There you go, Friend Lisa: technology upgrades to keep virtual monsters out, with special thanks to "Gen Alpha Doggies". What's not to love?

I remember when Hunter was young and I had all that computer equipment laying around for work I was super-worried about him chewing cables. I even bought some spray that was supposed to make things taste bitter. Too bad he actually liked that taste!!!! 😳 Even though he was not into cables, he was, instead, very much into shoe brushes. He did not chew them, but liked the ticklish feel on his paws pads. That was when he was very young and still had that amazing soft, pinkish skin there. He spent hours sitting in front of my shoe brush tickling himself silly. Then he was too spent to "upgrade" anything else.

Phew!
